Another name for Yeast Infection Mouth is Thrush.

What is thrush?
A person with thrush has inflammation to the lining of the mouth and throat, caused by a fungal infection. Thrush is common in infants and younger children. About 25 percent of infants develop thrush during the first 3 months of life. In adults, it tends to occur only in those who have a weak immune system. Occasionally, it may be a medication side effect of antibiotic therapy or chemotherapy.

What are the symptoms of thrush?
Symptoms of thrush include a white coating on the surface of the mouth and throat, a sore throat, and throat redness.

Treatment for thrush includes oral antifungal medications.
