Notify your doctor if you have wrist fracture and any of the following:

• Worsening wrist pain (unilateral)
• Worsening wrist swelling
• Pale skin in the hand
• Hand weakness (unilateral)
• Hand numbness (unilateral)
• Hand or wrist skin redness and pain

If you are placed in a cast or splint, notify your doctor for:

• Blue skin color
• Worsening wrist pain under the cast
• Hand numbness (unilateral)
• Loss of skin color in the fingers
• Loss of finger circulation
• Worsening finger pain
• Cast becomes too tight
