Ventricular Arrhythmia Types

Types of ventricular arrhythmia include:

Premature ventricular contractions:

Extra heart beats that originate from the ventricle
May be harmless if they occur rarely
May be serious if they occur frequently

Ventricular tachycardia:

May cause dangerously low blood pressure
May turn into ventricular fibrillation

Ventricular fibrillation:

Heart is unable to pump blood, resulting in death
