Treatment for a urethral stricture may include:
  • Urinary catheter
    • A rubber tube is inserted into the urethra, in order to drain urine from the bladder.
  • Dilation of the urethra:
    • The urethra is gently stretched apart, in order to relieve the stricture.
  • Surgery for a urethral stricture
