Tularemia Underlying Cause: Types
There are five types of tularemia:
  • Ulceroglandular:
  • Glandular:
    • Causes inflammation of the lymph glands
  • Oculoglandular:
    • Causes inflammation of the eyes and lymph nodes
  • Oropharyngeal:
    • Causes inflammation of the throat and tonsils
  • Typhoidal:
    • Causes a severe infection that results in sepsis
