Prevention of threatened abortion includes:
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Avoid aspirin.
  • Avoid caffeine. Images
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications, such as ibuprofen.
  • Avoid heavy lifting.
  • Avoid standing on the job for more than 6 hours.
  • Do not take medication without the consent of your doctor.
  • Do not smoke during your pregnancy.
  • Avoid exposure to secondary smoke
