Types of testicular cancer include:
  • Seminoma:
    • Accounts for 30 to 40% of testicular cancers
  • Embryonal cell carcinoma:
    • Accounts for 20 to 25% of testicular cancers
  • Teratocarcinoma:
    • Accounts for 20 to 25% of testicular cancers
  • Teratoma:
    • Account for 5 to 10% of testicular cancers
  • Choriocarcinoma:
    • Accounts for 1 to 3% of testicular cancers
Rare types of testicular cancer include:
  • Leydig cell tumors
  • Sertoli cell tumors
  • Yolk sac tumors
