Tendinitis Evaluation
The evaluation of tendinitis begins with a history and physical exam. Images

Physical findings in someone with tendinitis may include:
  • Swelling over a tendon Images

  • Redness over a tendon
  • Pain with movement
Tests are not necessary to make the diagnosis of tendinitis. Test may be required to evaluate conditions that cause symptoms similar to tendinitis.
