Tailbone Pain Evaluation
- The coccyx may be tender
- The surrounding skin may show signs of inflammation, such as redness and swelling.
Testing is usually not necessary to evaluate this condition.
Tests that may be used to evaluate coccyx pain include:
- X-rays of the sacrum and pelvis
