Sunburn Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have sunburn and any of the following:
Blisters
on the face, hands, feet or genitals
Large sunburn in an infant or elderly person
Pus draining from the
burn
Fever
Red streaks spreading from the
burn

Lymphangitis
of the arm
Lymphangitis
of the back of the leg
Lymphangitis
of the hand from a finger wound
Second degree sunburn
Fever
over 101 degrees F (38.3 C)
Worsening skin redness and pain:
