Stuttering Symptoms

The most common symptoms of stuttering include:

  • Difficulty initiating words
  • Repeating syllables of words quickly

Additional symptoms of stuttering include:
  • Avoiding certain words
  • Moments of fear
  • Repeating phrases multiple times
  • Rise in voice pitch while stuttering
  • Increase in voice loudness while stuttering
