First aid for stroke:
  • Maintain an open airway.
  • Place the victim on the weak side of the body:
    • This allows saliva to drain from the mouth.
  • Do not provide oral liquids or food.
  • Keep the victim calm and quiet.
  • Keep the victim warm.
