Prevention of heatstroke includes:

  • Drink plenty of liquids.
  • Avoid exposure to warm environments.
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Avoid exposure to the sun.
    • Wear clothing that blocks the sun's rays.
    • Wear a hat.
  • Exercise during cooler times of the day.
  • Bathe in tepid water.
