Notify your doctor if you have a shoulder contusion and any of the following:
  • Arm swelling
  • Worsening shoulder pain
  • Worsening shoulder swelling
  • Worsening shoulder tenderness
    • Inability to raise your hand above your head
  • Worsening shoulder redness Images
  • Deformed shoulder Images
  • Fever over 101 degrees F (38.3 C) Videos
  • Arm skin redness and pain Images
