The main symptom of scoliosis is an abnormally curved spine that results in one shoulder appearing lower than the other. Symptoms of severe scoliosis may include back pain, fatigue, and difficulty breathing during exercise.

Treatment for scoliosis may include a back brace, surgery, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications for pain.
