Notify your doctor if you have schizotypal personality disorder and any of the following:
  • Drug abuse
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Worsening hallucinations:
    • False perception of something that does not exist
    • Visual hallucinations: seeing things that do not exist
    • Auditory hallucinations: hearing sounds or voices that do not exist
  • Worsening delusions:
    • Unrealistic ideas
    • Unrealistic plans
  • Worsening symptoms of depression
  • Inability to function at home or work
  • Thoughts of suicide
  • Thoughts of hurting others
