Schizoid Personality Disorder Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have schizoid personality disorder and any of the following:
  • Drug abuse
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Hallucinations:
    • A false perception of something that does not exist
    • Hallucinations may be visual: seeing things that do not exist
    • Hallucinations may be auditory: hearing sounds or voices that do not exist
  • Worsening depression
  • Symptoms interfere with work or family life
  • Thoughts of suicide
  • Thoughts of hurting others
