Salivary Gland Cancer Symptoms

Symptoms of parotid carcinoma include:

  • Anorexia
  • Facial swelling:
    • Swelling around the angle of the jaw
    • Enlarged parotid gland
    • Swelling is usually painless
  • Facial weakness:
    • Facial drooping
    • Inability to smile on one side of the face
    • Inability to close the eye on one side of the face
    • Inability to raise the eyebrow on one side of the face
