Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have obsessive compulsive disorder and any of the following:
  • Drug abuse
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Hallucinations:
    • A false perception of something that does not exist
    • Hallucinations may be visual (seeing things that do not exist)
    • Hallucinations may be auditory (hearing sounds or voices that do not exist)
  • Worsening depression
  • Actions that are interfering with work or family life
  • Thoughts of suicide
  • Thoughts of hurting others
