A child with nursemaid's elbow has a slightly displaced bone in the elbow, usually due to a forceful pull on the arm. Nursemaid's elbow usually occurs in children 1 to 4 years old.

Nursemaid's elbow is very common in children between the age of 1 and 4 years.
