Home care measures for Shy-Drager syndrome include:

  • Take prescribed medications as directed.
  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Wear elastic support stockings
  • Eat a high fiber diet
  • If you feel faint, lie down and elevate your feet above your heart for 10-20 minutes.
  • Rise slowly when you stand from a sitting position.
