Neuroectodermal Tumor Types
Types of primitive neuroectodermal tumors include:
- Polar spongioblastoma
Primitive neuroectodermal tumors may also be classified by their location in the brain. Infratentorial means the lower, back one-third of the brain, including the brainstem and cerebellum. Supratentorial tumors arise within the front two-thirds of the brain.
