Myocardial Infarction Evaluation: Heart Catheterization
Cardiac catheterization, or coronary angiogram, is a procedure that identifies narrowed or blocked coronary arteries. During the procedure, a catheter is used to inject dye into the coronary arteries. An x-ray machine is used to show the dye flowing through the arteries.
