Notify your doctor if you have mouth ulcers and you develop any of the following:

Enlarging mouth ulcer
Inability to swallow liquids
Mouth or tongue lesions
Persistent vomiting
Mouth or tongue swelling
Fever over 101 degrees F (38.3 C)
Mouth ulcers that do not heal
Worsening mouth or tongue pain
Worsening mouth or tongue swelling
