Notify your doctor if you have mouth cancer and you develop any of the following:

Mouth or tongue ulcer that will not heal
Lip sore that will not heal
Persistent sore throat
Mouth or tongue lesions that last for more than 2 weeks
Bleeding from the mouth
White patches on the inside surface of the mouth
Difficulty speaking
Difficulty swallowing
Swollen glands in the neck
Ulcers in the mouth or on the lips
