A person with medulloblastoma has a growth of abnormal cells in the brain that multiply out of control. These cells can form tumors and spread to other parts of the body. Images

Brain tumors can cause swelling around the brain, causing it to malfunction. About one quarter of brain tumors in children are medulloblastomas.
