Malignant Melanoma Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have malignant melanoma and develop any of the following:
  • New skin lesion in someone older than 40
  • Moles, skin lumps or skin bumps with the following:
    • Asymmetry: one side does not look like the other Images
    • Bleeding or cracking Images
    • Inconsistent coloration Images
    • Irregular margins: borders with jagged or notched edges Images
    • Rapid change in size or shape Images
