Lymphangitis Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have lymphangitis and any of the following:
  • No improvement after antibiotics for 2 days
  • Red streaks in the skin:
    • Lymphangitis of the arm Images
    • Lymphangitis of the back of the leg Images
    • Lymphangitis of the hand from a finger wound Images
  • Repeated vomiting
  • Fever over 102 degrees F (38.8 C) Videos
  • Worsening lymph node swelling Images
  • Worsening pain, swelling and redness around a lymph gland Images
