Home care for lip swelling includes:

  • Apply cold compresses:
    • Apply for 20-30 minutes, every 1-2 hours, for the first day.
  • Take oral antihistamines for swelling:
  • Take prescribed medications as directed:
    • Don't skip doses of your medication. This makes them less effective.
    • Be aware of the common side effects that may be caused by your medication.
