Notify your doctor if you have a leg fracture and you develop any of the following:

• Worsening leg pain
• Worsening leg swelling (unilateral)
• Poor capillary refill in the toes
• Worsening foot swelling (unilateral)
• Leg numbness (unilateral)
• Leg weakness (unilateral)
• Foot weakness
• Redness and swelling of the skin

If you are placed in a cast or splint, notify your doctor for:

• Worsening foot pain (unilateral)
• Worsening leg pain (unilateral):
• Under the cast
• Foot numbness
• Pale toes
