Types of jaw bone fractures include:
  • Alveolar fracture:
    • Fracture through the bone near the teeth
  • Mandibular condyle fracture:
    • Fracture of the narrow part of the mandible at the joint near the temple
  • Mandibular angle fracture:
    • Fracture of the rear, lower part of the jaw Images
  • Mandibular body fracture:
    • Fracture of the thickest portion of the mandible Images
