Heart Block Second Degree Types
There are two forms of second degree heart block.
- Type 1 AV block:
- The time between the contraction of the atria and contraction of the ventricles lengthens, until the electrical impulse does not stimulate the ventricle to contract. This results in a missed heartbeat.
