Heart attack is unusual in men under 35, and in women less than 40 years old.

Risk factors for heart attack include:

Anxiety
A previous heart attack
A family history of heart disease
Age over 65
Creased ear lobe
Depression
Diabetes
Females after menopause
High blood cholesterol
High blood pressure
High stress at home or work
Hypothyroidism
Male gender
Systemic lupus erythematosus
