Heart Arrhythmia Pacemaker

Magnetic fields can reset or disable some pacemakers. Small magnets should be kept away from the chest wall. Considerable distance must be kept from very strong magnets such as those found in MRI scanners.

The metal in a pacemaker may set off metal detectors in airport and other security stations. Keep your pacemaker wallet card with you at all times.
