Headache Prevention
Prevention of a headache includes:
  • Avoid headache triggers, such as air pollution, smoke, and perfumes.
  • Neck muscle stretching
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Range of motion exercises for the head and neck
  • Get regular exercise.
  • Minimize stress as much as possible.
  • Avoid foods or additives that may be causing your headaches, such as:
    • Caffeine
    • Pea pods
    • Peanut butter
    • Pineapples
    • Processed meats
    • Raisins
    • Red plums
    • Red wine
    • Sauerkraut
    • Sour cream
    • Sourdough bread
    • Yogurt
