Symptoms of Giardia infection include:

• Fatigue
• Fever
• Excessive gas:
• Flatus
• Diarrhea
• May be foul-smelling
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Unintentional weight loss

Loss of fluids from diarrhea may cause dehydration.

Symptoms of dehydration include:

• Dry mouth
• Dry skin
• Fainting
• Few or no tears
• Lightheadedness
• Low blood pressure when standing
• Rapid pulse
• Urinating less than 3 times per day
• Weakness or fatigue
