What is tinea cruris?
A person with tinea cruris has inflammation of the skin in the groin, caused by a fungal infection. Tinea cruris is the most common fungal infection in men. With treatment, tinea cruris usually resolves within 2 weeks.

Symptoms of tinea cruris include an itchy, red rash in the groin. Additional symptoms include peeling skin and blisters.
