What is elephantiasis filarial?
A person with elephantiasis due to filarial infection has a parasitic infection that blocks lymphatic channels. Lymphatic channels transport liquid waste from the tissue to the bloodstream. The infection results in swelling and deformity.

What are the symptoms of elephantiasis filarial?
Symptoms of filarial elephantiasis include arm swelling, leg swelling, scrotal swelling, skin thickening, and swollen glands under the arm and in the groin.
