Factor 12 Deficiency Evaluation
The evaluation of factor 12 deficiency starts with a history and physical exam.
The physical exam is usually normal in those with factor 12 deficiency.
Tests are usually necessary to make the diagnosis of factor 12 deficiency.
Tests that may be used to evaluate factor 12 deficiency include:
- Bleeding time
- Complete blood count
- Partial thromboplastin time (PTT)
- Platelet count
- Protime (PT)
- Liver profile
- Serum factor 12 level
