External Hemorrhoid Underlying Cause
Hemorrhoids are caused by increased pressure in the veins beneath the skin near the anus. Hemorrhoids can cause pain, bleeding and itching when they become swollen and push through the anal opening, or when a clot forms inside the hemorrhoid.
