What is enuresis?
A person with enuresis has episodes of accidental urination. Enuresis that occurs at night is called bedwetting, which is extremely common. In most cases, there is no medical or psychological cause for the enuresis. About 10 percent of 6 year old children have enuresis. Most cases of enuresis resolve by the end of puberty. New onset enuresis could be a symptom of a urinary tract infection.
