What is an entropion?
A person with an entropion has an eyelid that has folded inward, toward the surface of the eye. As a result, the eyelashes rub against the surface of the eye. Entropion is most common in the elderly, as the muscles and skin of the eyelid weaken. Other causes for entropion include scarring after eye injury or eye infection, as well as blepharospasm. Images
