Enlarged Prostate Symptoms
Most men have an enlarged prostate gland for years before it causes urinary symptoms.

Initial symptoms of enlarged prostate include:
  • Decreased urination:
    • Difficulty starting the stream of urine
    • Straining to urinate
    • Bladder does not empty completely
    • Weak urine flow
  • Bladder spasms
  • Difficulty stopping the stream of urine
  • Dribbling at the end of urination
  • Sudden urge to urinate
  • Urinating more frequently than usual:
    • Worse at night
  • Small amount of blood in the urine:
