Drool Dermatitis Underlying Cause
Drool contains saliva and partially digested formula, milk, or food. The combination of saliva and partially digested food is very irritating to skin. This solution dissolves the protective oils on the skin surface, which causes inflammation of the skin, and results in a rash.
