Pericardial friction rub:

An abnormal sound caused by the heart rubbing against the pericardium

Rapid pulse:

Greater than 120

Rapid breathing rate

Tests for Dressler's syndrome may include:

Cardiac enzymes
Complete blood count
Erythrocyte sedimentation rate
Electrocardiogram
Chest x-ray
Echocardiogram
Viral cultures of the pericardium
Viral antibody tests
