Dog Bites Symptoms
Symptoms of a dog bite include:
- Laceration
- Puncture wound
- Abrasion
- Wound pain:
- Skin redness
- Skin tenderness
- Skin swelling
- Skin numbness
- Skin pain
- Loss of skin
- Deformed skin
- Wound bleeding
Symptoms of an infected dog bite include:
- Fever

- Worsening pain at the site
- Worsening redness around the bite
- Worsening tenderness around the bite
- Pus draining from the wound
- Skin redness and pain:
- Red streaks spreading from the wound:
- Lymphangitis of the arm

- Lymphangitis of the hand from a finger wound

- Swollen lymph glands above the bite:
