Corneal Foreign Body Underlying Cause
Common causes of eye foreign bodies include:
- Dislodged contact lenses
High speed tools can propel objects through the air at high speed. If they hit the eye, these objects may penetrate through the surface of the eye and enter the eyeball (globe).
