Symptoms of confusion include:
  • Agitation:
    • Difficulty sitting still
  • Poor decision-making
  • Difficulty speaking
  • Difficulty walking
  • Difficulty following directions
  • Difficulty caring for one's self
  • Disorientation:
    • Unaware of date, time and place
  • Hallucinations:
    • Abnormal perception of sight, sound, smell or sensation that does not exist
  • Irritable behavior
  • Excessive sleepiness
  • Loss of memory
  • Depression
