Condyloma Home Care

Home care for warts includes:

  • Do not cut or shave the wart.
  • Do not scratch warts with your fingernails.
  • Apply nonprescription wart medicine
  • Apply wart pads:
    • In order to relieve pressure on the wart
  • Apply prescription medication as directed.

Condyloma Warning Signs

Notify your doctor if you have warts and any of the following:

  • A wart that changes color or shape
  • A wart that is present for more than 1 month
  • Persistent bleeding from the wart
  • Skin redness and pain around the wart
  • Worsening pain around a wart
  • Worsening skin swelling around a wart
  • Worsening skin tenderness around a wart
