Concussion Symptoms
A concussion can cause one or more of the following:
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Loss of memory for the event (amnesia):
    • May not remember the injury
    • May not remember events before and after the injury
    • Repeating questions over and over
  • Confusion
  • Changes in mood:
    • Decreased desire to perform normal activities
    • Irritable behavior
  • Difficulty with balance and coordination:
  • Difficulty speaking:
    • Slurred speech
  • Sensitivity to bright light
  • Sensitivity to loud noises
  • Sleep difficulties:
