A concussion can cause one or more of the following:
- Loss of consciousness
- Loss of memory for the event (amnesia):
- May not remember the injury
- May not remember events before and after the injury
- Repeating questions over and over
- Confusion
- Changes in mood:
- Decreased desire to perform normal activities
- Irritable behavior
- Difficulty with balance and coordination:
- Difficulty speaking:
- Sensitivity to bright light
- Sensitivity to loud noises
- Sleep difficulties:
